Why We Work This Way
The usual way a remodel falls apart is not bad workmanship. It is coordination. The framer finishes and disappears. The drywall crew shows up two weeks late. The painter blames the drywall, the flooring installer blames the framer, and the homeowner is stuck in the middle making phone calls.
Greg Smith set Sooner Premiere Construction up to remove most of that. We self perform framing in both wood and metal, drywall and texture, acoustic ceilings, paint, flooring and epoxy coatings, siding and windows, which covers the large majority of scope on a typical residential or commercial project. One company owns the schedule and one company answers for the finished product.
When you call, you get Greg. When the work starts, Greg is the one accountable for it. There is no sales department to get handed off to and no project manager who has never seen your house.
The only work we hand off is the licensed trades: electrical, heat and air, and plumbing. Those get coordinated into the schedule so the job never sits idle waiting on someone.

You get an itemized number, not a range that doubles once the walls are open. If something unexpected comes up, we price it before we do it.
Floors covered, dust contained where it can be, and the site cleaned up at the end of every day. You still have to live there while we work.
If something is a bad idea, costs more than it is worth, or should be done by a licensed trade instead, we say so up front.
We walk the punch list with you at the end. The job is done when you agree it is done, not when the trailer pulls out.
We are clear about the three trades we do not touch. Nobody finds out mid project that a chunk of the work was never included.
Questions
Electrical, heat and air, and plumbing. Those are licensed trades and we leave them to licensed contractors. Everything else that goes into building or finishing a space is work we handle.
Yes. We schedule around those trades and keep the rest of the project moving so nothing sits idle. If you need a recommendation, we can point you toward licensed contractors we have worked alongside.
Yes. Tenant finish, office and retail build outs, commercial painting and flooring. We schedule commercial jobs around your operating hours whenever the work allows it.
Both. A single room of flooring, a drywall repair or a handful of replacement windows is worth a call. So is a ground up build.
It depends on scope, materials and the condition of what is already there, so any number given over the phone would be a guess. We look at the space and give you a real estimate for free.
A single trade job can be a few days. A full remodel usually runs weeks, and the licensed trades and inspections are often what set the pace. We give you a realistic window up front instead of a best case one.
